The Minnesota Department of Health has announced the second confirmed case of coronavirus in the state.

The patient in Carver County is suspected to have contracted the virus while traveling to Europe last month.

The MDH says it's unclear how many people the patient may have been in contact with before the test results came back positive late Sunday afternoon.

According to the MN Dept. of Health:

The patient is in isolation at home and is recovering. MDH is working with Carver County Public Health and health care partners to identify and contact all those who may have come in contact with the infected person.

The state's first case was reported Friday in Ramsey County.

Wash your hands. Don't touch your face. Stay home when you're sick.
