Are men big babies when we're sick?

YES! But's it's not our fault! It's evolution!

According to Canadian researchers, men are biologically-evolutioned (my word) to feel the effects of the flu way harder than women.

Why?

Estrogen. Cavemen needed to be big badasses to survive clubbing tigers and such, so their bodies produced more testosterone. Can't be bothered making estrogen when that woolly mammoth is bearing down on you!

That estrogen that men were forsaking strengthens women's immune systems, making women badasses at clubbing viruses.

So it works out, right? Men gather the food and women live long enough to eat it!
