You may remember a while ago HGTV had renovated a home in Minneapolis. It's a beautiful home that HGTV then held a contest for. Millions of people entered to win, 69 million according to Bring Me the News. But now the home is up for sale. What happened?!

Well a woman named Fannie Allen won the contest, according to Bring Me the News. But she didn't take the home! How does that work, why did she enter in the first place? Well in the fine print of the contest it gave you an option to take the house or you could choose to take a $300,000 cash prize instead. Well, guess what Fannie decided to take.
