Having a AMEX Delta Skymiles card can really make flying easier... in some cases.  If you have one of these cards, and you use the card whenever possible, along with booking your travel plans, you can really rack up the perks.  Depending on how much you use the card, sometimes your flights can be free, or next to free.  Plus being able to use the sky club in the airport, no bag fees, priority boarding, TSA precheck in some cases, and some other perks as well.

But when the annual fees for just having the card increase this much, you may have to figure out if the perks outweigh the fees on the card.  And the interest is fairly high too.  So, unless you pay off the card every month, this can get expensive. Although, if you fly enough, the perks may still be worth it.

So, if you do have a business Delta Sky Miles card  - probably want to keep that. If it's a personal one, might want to weigh out the pros and cons.
