
Minnesota Baseball Association Sees 5 New Teams For 2025 Season
Pitchers and catchers have reported to Fort Myers, Florida, as the Minnesota Twins and their fans look forward to another year of playing and watching under the bright lights of a big professional stadium. Looking a little closer to home, the Minnesota Baseball Association just approved 5 new teams for the 2025 season, which, believe it or not, will be here before we know it. While these teams might not be playing at Target Field for their home games, they still have the attention of many. Let's meet the 5 newest teams of the Minnesota Baseball Association.
The 5 new teams were part of the agenda for the February 8th Minnesota Baseball Association meeting held in St. Cloud. In addition to welcoming 5 new teams for the new year, three other teams folded.

Here are the newest teams to the Minnesota Baseball Association, along with the division they will be playing in parathesis:
Moose Lake Buzz (Eastern Minny), Long Prairie Predators (restart, Resorters)
Mounds View Noble Steed (Skyline), Rum River Bandits name change to Cambridge Bandits, and Willmar Indians (Corn Belt or County Line)
The teams leaving the Minnesota Baseball Association are:
Rochester Barons, Ramsey Renegades (merging with Elk River) & St Louis Park
Pirates
This year's state tournament will be taking place not TOO far from the St. Cloud area, the games are scheduled to be played in Brownton, Hutchinson, Gaylord, and Glencoe on the following weekends Aug. 15-17, Aug. 22-24, Aug. 29-Sept. 1.
