According to WalletHub, Minnesota is among states with the lowest uninsured rates. With the national uninsured rates rising up, WalletHub released a new study comparing 548 U.S. cities using data from the U.S. Census Bureau.

According to their findings, Minnesota placed fifth in their ranking, behind 4th ranked Rhode Island, 3rd placing Hawaii, runner up Vermont and first place Massachusetts.

The study looked at three main categories; health insurance rates by age, ethnicity and income. Minnesota ranked 3rd in the 'adults uninsured rate' category.
