Paige Goehner of Blaine was declared the winner of Food Network's 'Kids Baking Championship during Monday night's finale.

The 6th grader at Hill-Murray School in St. Paul won $25,000 and the title of Kids Baking Champion.

She beat out two other contestants including another Minnesotan, 10-year old Meadow Roberts of Minneapolis. Her winning piece was a chess-themed cake.

Making Paige's achievement that much more impressive is the fact that she has juvenile arthritis, she shared with FoodNetwork.com.

She had to give up dance because of it but found that she could bake despite it. She intends to donate some of her winnings to  the Arthritis Foundation.
