Guy Fieri, the Mayor of Flavortown, is no stranger to the Land of 10,000 Lakes. He has been to many places across the state and has been revisiting them in his new series Triple D nation, a spin-off of Diner's Drive-Ins and Dives. The show brings Guy around to check in on some of his favorite places from over 26 seasons of filming for the show.

Gordy's Hi-Hat in Cloquet is one of those places. Gordy's Hi-Hat is a burger joint that was originally featured on an episode of Triple D titled "Knockout Burger Joints" from the first season of the show. It was again featured on "You Called It", an episode that aired as part of season 9. The Food Network website even features the recipe for the chili from Gordy's, and it was provided by Grandma Nellie, mother of the founder of Gordy's Hi-Hat in Cloquet, MN.

The Food Network website write up for Gordy's Hi-Hat reads:

Locals eagerly await the reopening of Gordy’s Hi-Hat every spring, as this seasonal joint slings old-school favorites like a double cheeseburger that’s built right on the flat top. The patties are seasoned with salt and pepper, grilled and then topped with onions, cheese and pickles.

Guy Fieri will be checking in with the crew once again at Gordy's Hi-Hat in a new episode of Triple D Nation that is airing May 28th at 8 PM on Food Network.
