Princeton's "Rum River Festival 2021" begins today with this year's theme "Coming Back Together 2021.

The events begin today with the Princeton Ambassador's Coronation at the Performing Arts Center, with a social at 5:30 and the coronation beginning at 6:30. Tickets for this event are $7 each for adults 18 and older, and $5 for Seniors 65+, students and children.


Thursday, June 10th is the kick off to lots of fun. The City-wide Garage Sale kicks off in the morning and goes every day through June 13th.  Also, lots of fun for the whole family with the Medallion Hunt put on by the American Legion Post 216.  Clues will be posted on the PACC Facebook page, and on the door of the Chamber Office, located at 507 1st Street in Princeton.

At 4 pm on Thursday, June 10th, the Street Fair will begin on First Street, and at 6 pm, the Rum River Festival Parade will take place.

The fun continues Friday, June 11th, with several events in Riverside Park, including:

  • Music in the Park from 3 - 7 pm
  • Chalk Art Contest from 3-7 pm
  • Canoe Run at 5 pm
  • Lucky Duck Drop at 6 pm

At 7 pm Friday night, will be fun at the races at The Princeton Speedway.

Saturday, bright and early beginning at 8 am, the Rum River Festival 5k check in begins at Northern Nutrition located at 401 1st Street, Suite A, in Princeton.


Food Trucks on the Farm will be at Brickton Genetics, at 9014 45th Street in Princeton, from 10am until 2 pm.

Sunday, June 13th, will be the wrap up of the City-wide Garage Sale and the Princeton Lions Club Airport Brunch at the Princeton Airport, taking a free will offering.
