Easter has always been my favorite holiday.  When I was a kid it was all about the Easter Egg hunts.

We would normally celebrate Easter with my dad's side of the family and that meant eggs filled with candy and money.  It was so much fun!  It's still a lot of fun because my cousins have young children and they're so funny.  They get so excited!  I think my aunt, Carol, wishes that some of us were still young because she's still trying to get us to do the hunt every Easter.  Somehow, I think it's inappropriate for 20-somethings to take on the little kids.

One thing that has become really popular is large scale Easter egg hunts.  Usually businesses or churches put them on.  There's a ton of them in the Twin Cities and central Minnesota.  According to an article from Newscastic, one of the largest in the Midwest happens to be in just a little ways east, in Maple Grove.  It's hosted by a church and they hide 75,000 eggs.  That's a lot of different hiding spots!

There are actually a lot of fun ones throughout Minnesota.  Check out the full list here.
