Easter Was My Favorite Holiday When I Was a Kid and That Hasn’t Changed

I love Easter!  Yes, even more than Christmas! Ever since I was a kid, I have loved Easter.  I don't know what it is but I've always looked forward to it.  It might be because it's sort of like a rebirth -- spring is coming, it's warmer and the sun is out.  I can't quite put my finger on it but it was, is and will always be my favorite holiday.

When I was a kid, we'd celebrate Easter with my dad's family and there would be a huge Easter egg hunt.  It was always fun because you'd make bank -- either in money or candy.  The adults would hide them and then turn all of us kids loose.

It was awesome and to this day, there's still an Easter egg hunt for all the little kids running around.  It's pretty cool to see the excitement on their faces when they find eggs and to point them in the direction of finding them.

Man, I miss being a kid sometimes!  What are your family's Easter traditions?
