I love houses that are unique, but not too unique that they aren't functional.  This home was one of those old churches that you find mostly in small towns.  Like the one room church/one room school houses that you might see in a show like Little House on the Prairie.

This converted church located in Detroit Lakes, has been featured on Zillow Gone WIld, and it's pretty well done.  Very functional with the unique features of an old church, this adds so much appeal to the home.

When you walk in, you can definitely tell that it used to be a church, but now it's a functional home with everything you would need in a conventional home.

The bathroom is done very well, with a strange/unique window.  Not really big enough where you would see anything inappropriate, but it does add some natural light to the space.

One of the bedrooms looks a bit like you are staying in a church with a brass bed,, but another one looks like any other bedroom that you would have for the kids.

I am absolutely loving the main floor set up.  It looks great, along with the kitchen.  The set up is completely modern, yet keeps the charm of the old church.  It's not lost in the remodel at all.
