Familiar Names Are Up For Minnesota's Best Awards

Now is the time to vote with your mouse. Minnesota's Best Awards are currently accepting votes across a huge slate of categories, and it is fun to see some familiar names of those nominated for Minnesota's Best.

The Minnesota's Best Awards have been going on for years, and once again they are back and it looks like it might be the biggest year yet. I was clicking on a few different categories, just to see who has been nominated, and it was fun to see some familiar names listed across several categories. Here are just a few that I noticed, feel free to leave other nominations in the comments.

Under Food & Drink, I looked at the Bloody Mary category, one of my favorite weekend beverages during the summer months, and noticed a few different Central Minnesota businesses, here are those nominees:

Red Rooster Bar and Grill - Genola

Clearwater Travel Plaza - Clearwater

Kings 46 Wine Bar - Mapleton

Millside Tavern - St. Michael

Boulder Tap House - Various Locations

Eddy's Resort - Onamia

Frosty's Bar & Grill - Pierz

Those are just the Central Minnesota restaurants and bars I spotted off a quick scroll in the Bloody Mary category.

It's crazy to think that a place like The Red Goat Bar in Watkins, which has a Sunday Bloody Bar and has also won this award in the past, was NOT nominated this year.
