Is Alexa Your New Virtual Babysitter?

MEET MY FRIEND, ALEXA

I've developed a great relationship with Alexa, my Echo Dot.  She tells my jokes when I ask her to. I told her last night that she was funny. She said, "Thanks." Then I said, "Alexa, wake me up at 4."  She said, Is that AM or PM? I said, "AM."  Sure enough, Alexa is more reliable than my cell phone. Every morning she wakes me with this nice non irritating music that gradually gets louder.

ALEXA IS NOW A VIRTUAL BABYSITTER

Well now, Alexa is getting more involved with children. Amazon just announced a KIDS edition, that basically acts like a virtual babysitter.

If your kids say, "I'm bored," she'll entertain them. Alexa can read them stories, play them music. There is even an option where Alexa wont' respond unless your kids say please first.

I believe you can also add these options to your current Echo device if you have one.
