Iowa Thumps Gophers, Huskies & Johnnies Win

The Minnesota Gophers (3-2) dropped their homecoming game Saturday, falling to Iowa 48-31. St. Cloud State and St. John's both picked up conference wins Saturday afternoon.

The Huskies (4-2) defeated visiting Wayne State 23-17 at Husky Stadium in St. Cloud. #9 St. John's remained unbeaten by dominating Bethel 34-16 in Arden Hills.

Also in the MIAC, St. Thomas crushed Augsburg 73-14 in St. Paul -- setting up next week's showdown between a pair of nationally top-ten ranked, undefeated teams in SJU and UST at Clemens Stadium in Collegeville.

• St. John's (5-0) vs. St. Thomas (5-0) in Collegeville, MN at 1 PM.
• Minnesota (3-2) at Ohio State (5-0) in Columbus, OH at 11 AM.
