This weekend was crazy. My boyfriend Cory and I had a full schedule, and when Sunday evening rolled around neither of us felt like cooking dinner. We decided to go out to eat, and try the new Crooked Pint Ale House in St. Cloud. The restaurant just opened this summer and we love trying new places, so it seemed like the perfect option.

I started my meal with a Crispin Cider tap. At first I was Skeptical about ice in my cider, but it was incredibly refreshing. Cory went with a Moscow Mule and made the comment that it was probably the best mule he has ever had.

We split an appetizer of the boneless Korean Gochujang Wings. It was almost like the wings were coated in a candy sauce, but had just enough of a kick at the end that made you want another one. I don't know if I would want a full order for myself, the sweetness of the wings would've been too much, but sharing them was just the right amount.

For my meal I went with the PB & Bacon Lucy. A burger stuffed with peanut butter, and topped with romaine and bacon. This Lucy was actually named one of the Top 5 Peanut Butter Burgers by City Pages. I understand why. The ratio of burger to peanut butter was perfect, and the bacon and romaine lettuce complimented the burger and each other beautifully. I would definitely recommend it.

Overall we really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant, the service was awesome, and the food was worthy of coming back for again. Have you tried Crooked Pint yet? What did you think of it?
