I Made The Most Amazing Cake This Weekend…SUGAR FREE!

SUGAR FREE CAKE?

Sounds disgusting. Who would want a sugar free cake? Everyone always says that sugar free cake mixes are not worth your time.  I disagree.

I love baking, but I'm really trying to watch what I eat. I've lost about 15 pounds over the past two months...so when I get the urge to bake, it's difficult not going back to my old habits.

THE SNOWY SATURDAY PLAN

So I made a plan. I bought groceries to deal with the big snowed in weekend. I bought two chocolate sugar free cake mixes, and two cans of sugar free vanilla frosting.  I made the cakes with egg whites only, oil and water, and the cake was delicious.

THE BEST PART

The best part; because it DIDN'T have sugar in in, I wasn't craving seconds or thirds. It was just something that let me bake; as I love to do; and let me have a piece without getting any sugar. No cravings...No terrible after effects.

I bought Pillsbury chocolate sugar free cake and classic sugar free frosting from Pillsbury.
