Hats Off To Mall Of America–They Won’t Be Open On Thanksgiving

You can call me old fashioned, but I think that Thanksgiving should be celebrated with your family and not cut short to shop for "Gray Thursday" deals. Now, don't get me wrong, I love Black Friday and I'm an annual participant in the festivities--but, I want my Thanksgiving to be about spending time with the ones I love.

That's why I'm proud of the Mall of America! They've made the decision to remain closed on Thanksgiving. It's actually kind of shocking considering how large the mall is. Although, each business inside of MOA has the option to stay open. But, still--I love the example they're setting.

But, you better bet I'll be standing in line come Friday morning with all of the other shoppers because it's a fun tradition I have with the women in my family.
