Gophers Roll, Huskies Fall on Gridiron Today

The Minnesota Gophers (6-2) became bowl eligible for the fifth straight season today with a 40-17 win over the Fighting Illini (2-6) in Illinois. The St. Cloud State Huskies (4-5) were tripped up by visiting Bemidji State (7-2) 48-7 at a rain-soaked Husky Stadium. The Johnnies were off today.
