Gophers Advance to College Softball World Series (How to Watch)

The Minnesota Gophers Women's Softball team has advanced to the College World Series for the first time in program history. Here's how they got there, and how to watch.

The #7 seeded Minnesota Gophers (46-12) will face UCLA this Thursday in the first round of the 2019 College World Series. The Gopher women are one of the final eight teams remaining in the race for the title.

The Gophers advanced in the tournament by knocking off North Dakota State and Georgia in the Minneapolis regional, before a two-game sweep of LSU in the NCAA Super Regional this weekend in on the U of M campus.

#7 Minnesota will face #2 UCLA this Thursday at 1:30 PM CT in Oklahoma City on ESPN.
