The historic Duluth estate is the latest Minnesota icon to get a one-shot drone video.

Over the weekend, the pair behind previous viral drone-shot videos for Bryant Lake Bowl & Theater, Mann Theatres' Plymouth Grand 15, Mall of America and First Ave posted another of their highly-anticipated drone-shot videos online. This one featured Duluth's Glensheen Mansion on the shore of Lake Superior.

The video starts outside the mansion, making its way up the driveway and inside through the front door. Flying from room to room around the 39-room mansion, actors from the UMD theater department dressed as Glensheen staff and family members go about their day as they would have a century ago. A voice-over adds audio commentary to the tour. After making its way through the house, the drone makes its way outside to follow Tischer Creek out to Lake Superior where it turns around for a final glimpse of Glensheen Mansion.

"We love the immersive feeling of stepping back in time that the video gives. The production of the video was a wonderful group effort," Bring Me the News quotes a Glensheen spokesperson. "Jay Christensen and his talented team led the visionary way. It was great to have the chance to utilize our UMD connection in working with the UMD Theater student talent and the UMD Costume Shop."

As with their previous drone videos, the video was piloted and shot by Jay Byrd Christensen and directed by Anthony Jaska. Their first video to go viral was of Bryant Lake Bowl & Theater back in March, even earning them the praise of Marvel director James Gunn.
