
What You Need To Know Before Going To Pierz Freedom Fest ’25
This Friday and Saturday, the Morrison County Fairgrounds will be the place to be in Central Minnesota as Pierz Freedom Fest welcomes in music artists that are known not only locally by nationally. Before you get inside the gates on Friday, we want you to know when the bands will be playing, how you can get there, as well as the parking situation. Here are some things you should know before Friday!
New Bigger Location For A Bigger Pierz Freedom Fest
Pierz Freedom Fest is running two days this year, with a rock night Friday night, headlined by Night Ranger, and a country night Saturday with Dylan Scott taking the stage at 10pm. With the new venue, you'll want to know how to get to the fairgrounds. Here are some tips for no matter what direction you are coming from.
- Driving -
- South of Little Falls
- Take Highway 10 North to the Highway 27 exit, turn right at the end of the ramp to go East on Highway 27. Turn left on Hawthorn Road, and follow that to the Fair entrance, as it will be on your left.
- North of Little Falls
- Take Highway 10 South to the Highway 27 exit. Turn left at the end of the ramp to head east on Highway 27. Turn left onto Hawthorn Road, and follow that to the Fair entrance, which will be on your left.
- From Pierz
- Go South through town and turn on 27, and follow it to Hawthorn Road, go right onto Hawthorn Road. You'll drive until you see the fair entrance on your left.
- Alternatively, you can go North through town on Main Street/27 in Pierz, go left onto 163rd Street. 163rd Street turns into Hawthorn, you'll stay on that and arrive at the fairgrounds from the North, so you'll be going right into the fairgrounds.
- Parking is $20/car
- Bus -
You can also ride the bus to the concert grounds this weekend, as the buses will be running starting at 3pm Friday and 2pm Saturday. You can catch a bus at the following stops.
Royalton - Scotties Log Bar
Little Falls - Johnny C's Sports Bar
Genola - Becker's Campground OR Silver Bullet Bar
Pierz - Frosty's Bar, Bootlegger's Bar, Pierz Park Campground, OR Toni's Tavern
When do the gates open for the festival?
The gates open up at 3pm both Friday and Saturday. You can arrive early, but you'll be waiting until 3 to get into the venue. Coolers aren't allowed in the concert area either, and make sure you've got your wristband on at all times.
Also, no tents, canopies, or backpacks will be allowed in. You can see a full list of what's allowed and what's not allowed by heading here.
When do the bands start playing?
Friday night, the Speak Eezy band starts at 4pm on the side stage, followed by If Nothing Else at 6pm, Janelle Kendall's Perfect Storm at 8, and Night Ranger at 10pm.
Saturday night If Nothing Else opens up the side stage at 4pm, the Fabulous Armadillos are at 6pm, Sara Evans is at 8pm, and Dylan Scott takes to the stage at 10pm.

Have Fun & Be Responsible
Make sure you have fun while you are enjoying the live outdoor music, and be responsible, and if you aren't camping out, have a safe and sober ride home.
