First-Ever Rockin’ Warriors Ride Raising Money to Fight Cancer
HOLDINGFORD -- Two central Minnesota girls and their families are teaming up to raise money to fight childhood cancer this weekend.
Started by Lillian, Rya, and their parents, the first-ever Rockin' Warriors Ride kicks off Saturday and the funds raised will benefit Tanner's Team Foundation, INDY, and Wishes & More in their work to support families battling childhood cancer.
Both girls have first-hand experience with cancer and wanted to help others going through the same thing. The event starts at noon with a meet and greet with the girls at Rudolph's Redneck Roost in Holdingford.
All types of vehicles are welcome including motorcycles, cars, and side by sides with the ride beginning at 1:30 p.m. The ride will include an hour-long pit stop at Howie's Corner Bar in St. Stephen and another hour-long stop at Bialka's in Opole for the silent auction, before returning to the Holdingford American Legion for a free-will donation meal, live music, and more.
