The Farmer's Almanac likes to predict weather up to two months in advance. For central Minnesota, they're predicting sunny and mild weather conditions for the first week of March. YES! Finally, sunshine on a weather forecast!

Don't get too excited though. They say things will turn to snow and very cold temperatures by the second week of the month. On the third week we're supposed to see more snow and cold temperatures.

By the last week of March the Farmer's Almanac thinks we'll be back to sunshine and cool temperatures.

But, how accurate are their predictions? Considering we were just in a blizzard and their forecast models predicted showers and mild temperatures, it doesn't seem very reliable. However, according to CNN, the Farmer's Almanac claims to be 80-percent accurate.

So, take it with a grain of salt! But, at this point, I'm willing to accept any forecast that claims winter is coming to an end.
