REMEMBER WHEN

There have been many chain stores that have come through Minnesota in the past. At one time or another, they all seem to take center stage for a while. They become the store that everyone is talking about, then the store that everyone tries, and eventually the store that knocks the last big chain store off its blocks. Could that be happening again?

I remember when I first heard about Aldi. I visited and I was confused. I had to pay 25 cents for a cart...but not really, because someone was always leaving so they would give you theirs. I remember going in and not recognizing any of the brands. I remember it being a bit chaotic. But that was then...and my my my...have things at Aldi changed.

ALDI IS BECOMING KING

Aldi has improved big time, and; they are planning their biggest expansion this year, looking at opening up over 225 new locations across the United States. That includes building new locations here in the state of Minnesota and throughout the Midwest.

The experience these days when you walk in Aldi, or when you order online from Aldi? Amazing! The stores have wide lanes, great quality products, amazing prices and you have to love their shopping bags.

ALDI EXPANSION ACROSS THE US

According to an online news article, Aldi plans on opening 800 new locations by 2028! Right now according to Market Force data shows that Aldi provides the best value among leading grocery stores including Costco, Sam's Club, Target, and Walmart.

MY EXPERIENCE

Have you tried an Aldi's recently? I shop at a lot of different places looking for the best prices overall. I can honestly say that when I shop at Aldi, my bill is always reasonable. The produce and meat selection is exceptional. I can't always find everything I want at Aldi right now, but it sounds like that might be changing soon. My family also places online orders for Aldi, and the order is almost always ready in less than an hour! They are doing a great job and I wonder..Will they take over as the next big chain store?
