Electric Car Driver Killed in Crash at Minnesota Interchange
New Brighton, MN (KROC-AM News)- The driver of an electric car lost his life in a crash at an interchange in the Twin Cities Thursday night.

The State Patrol responded to the deadly crash shortly after 9:30 p.m. It happened at the I-694/I35-W interchange in New Brighton.
The state crash report indicates a Chevy Volt traveling west on I-694 collided with the concrete median then came to rest on the ramp connecting southbound I-35W to I-694.
The driver is described as a 60-year-old man from Hudson, WI. His name has not yet been released.
The State Patrol plans to release more information regarding the fatal crash later Friday morning.
