Don't miss the latest safety recalls from top automakers like Kia, GM, and Chevrolet. Check if your vehicle needs attention and stay safe on the road.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has been working hard to hold vehicle makers accountable for various recall issues, and vehicle manufacturers from GM, Nissan, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Kia, and even Porsche are all a part of the huge recall.

Kia?! Again? I love my Kia, but they are recalling approximately 36,000 of their 2019-2020 K900 and 2018-2023 Stinger vehicles. What's happening? The left turbocharger oil feed pipe and hose assembly could deteriorate causing an oil leak, which could increase the risk of fire WHILE the vehicle is in operation. Kia owners can bring their vehicles to their local KIA dealer and have this fixed FOR FREE. Very Cool Kia!

Notification letters will be sent on April 26th, 2024.

The recall of approximately 300,000 trucks last month, has expanded to over 800,000 regarding a safety issue with the tailgate. The vehicles being affected by GM include the Chevrolet Silverado and the GMC Sierra models from 2020-2024.

Of all the recalls being made, this one has an easy fix for Dodge Hornets and Alfa Romeo Tonale vehicles. The problem? The placard label lists the wrong weight value. It might not sound like a big deal, but if the vehicle gets overloaded, it could cause the vehicle to crash.

  • Bring your vehicle to your Chrysler dealer, and they will add an overlay label to the tire placard at no cost.
  • Notification letters are being sent out on April 24th.
  • If you have concerns, call 1.800.853.1403 and mention recall number 28B.

Do you drive a Pathfinder or an Infiniti QX60? There is an issue with seatbelts. Because there is a missing rivet, the seatbelt pretensioner on the driver's belt may fail to restrain the driver in a crash.

  • At no charge to you, your Nissan Mechanic will check the belt for you, and replace it if necessary.
  • Notification letters are being sent out on April 18th, 2024.
  • If you have concerns you can call Nissan customer service at 1.800.867.7669. The recall number is PD106 & PD107.

Nissan also has a recall on 2023 Rogues, regarding a similar issue. Notifications for these vehicles is expected to go out on April 19th, 2024, and vehicle owners can have this corrected at no charge by visiting their local Nissan dealer. Should you have concerns you can call customer service at 1.800.867.7669 with recall number PD105.

Porsche has an issue with the front windshield, and the rear window being secured properly. In the event your airbag went off, unsecured windows would not support the pressure of an airbag release. Obviously, this can cause other major concerns during a crash.

  • Owners can bring their vehicle to a dealer who will inspect and replace the windows for free.
  • Inspection letters are expected to go out on April 26th, 2024.
  • You can call customer service if you have concerns at 1.800.767.7243.
  • The recall number to refer to is ARA3.
