Redhead Creamery LLC in Brooten, Minnesota has canceled their third annual 'Curd Fest' event which was slated for June 19.

Curd Fest serves up a variety of cheese curds including on a stick, dipped in chocolate, deep friend and squishy. They make it all. In addition to the curds, they also have live entertainment, other food options available and beer for sale.

Redhead Creamery LLC made the announcement on their Facebook page with an updated cover photo stating they're canceled this year. Although, they didn't cite COVID-19 as the culprit, their timeline follows suit with other closures.

The event, which has been very well attended in the past, was going to be extended this year from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

On Facebook, Amy Rosenberg wrote, "We’ll plan for 2021, but so sad about this summer. 😢"

Another commenter, Holly Christine wrote, "Guess we will just have to take a road trip up there another weekend!"

If you're super bummed out that you're not going to be able to get your cheese curd fix this June, the Redhead Creamery LLC is selling curds you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home. You can get them delivered to you from anywhere in the world by UPS or USPS.

They'll be making special deliveries to Hutchinson, Mankato, Rochester and the Twin Cities this Thursday, May 28. Your order needs to be in by 5 p.m. Monday. Following that date, they'll be making weekly deliveries on Wednesdays to the Twin Cities.

If you live in Fargo, Sioux Falls or Rochester, you can get your order delivered once every four weeks.
