Cold Spring Bakery Offers Cake Decorating Kits for Mother’s Day

Mother's Day is coming up this weekend and it's sure to be a Mother's Day like none other as Minnesotans practice social distancing amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cold Spring Bakery is offering up cake decorating kits you can buy and make in your own kitchen for mom this Mother's Day. The kit includes cake, frosting in a decorating bag, sprinkles, and themed picks.

Typically the bakery offers a class every year where you can learn decorating techniques and make you mom a cake in the process. Since they can't offer that class this year, they're selling kits you decorate from home.

You can buy a white or chocolate cake for $8.99. They ask that you place your orders ahead of time at 320-685-8681. Cold Spring Bakery has two locations, in Cold Spring and Waite Park.
