Your Facebook timeline was probably blowing up yesterday with photos and videos of people capturing the first few snow flurries of the 2020 season.

I happened to capture the quick little bout of snow on video yesterday. My husband was outside grilling up dinner and frantically ran in the house yelling, 'it's snowing, come quick, look!"

I ran upstairs with my 3-year-old son Charlie and, yes, it was in, in fact, snowing outside. It wasn't a lot, it was quick and if you blinked, you missed it.

Luckily we didn't get any measurable snow. It was pretty and it was also pretty quick.

I think Charlie was very disappointed because he thought that there'd be a lot more snow to see. Unfortunately for him, we might have to wait awhile for that. We just had a few flurries.

If you live up north though, you might actually get your first snow accumulation of the year this weekend. According to the National Weather Service, there's a chance that northern Minnesota could see up to two inches of measurable snow this weekend...ick.

If you're a snow lover, that's great news, if not, well...you're in for a very long winter.

Love the snow or hate it, the first few snow flurries are always pretty. Check out the video and see if you can spot the little bout of snow!
