Check Out These Eye-Popping Snow Totals from Southern Minnesota

On a day when we didn't see a single flake of snow here in St. Cloud, the Twin Cities and southern Minnesota were walloped with eye-popping snow totals. These are the best that I could find:

• Owatonna: 17"
• Prior Lake: 16.5"
• Fairmont: 16"
• Apple Valley: 14"
• Brooklyn Center: 14"
• Cannon Falls: 13.5"
• Burnsville: 13.5"
• Mankato: 13"
• MSP Airport: 12.4"
• Faribault: 12"
• Chanhassen: 11"
• Stillwater: 11"
• Rochester: 10.5"
• Red Wing: 10"

The cutoff to the north of the storm was amazingly sharp. Closer to home, Elk River picked up 1.3 inches, Dayton saw 2.5 inches, and Buffalo had 1.7 inches accumulate.
