The television show 'Bones' is going a little bit country. The forensics series has cast country singer Charlie Worsham to make a guest appearance playing, well, a country singer.

This will be Worsham's very first acting gig, which he used his Facebook page to tell fans about. He'll be playing the part of a country singer who gets murdered!

The episode will be directed by none other than David Boreanaz from the show, according to TV Line.

The acting world will be a change for the 'Could It Be' singer, who has toured with both Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift. He isn't the only one who will be making a cameo on the hit TV show. Kelly Rutherford, Olympian McKayla Maroney and Richard Schiff from 'The West Wing' will also make appearances.

Worsham's episode of 'Bones' will air Jan. 17 at 8PM ET on FOX. If the one episode isn't enough for you to get your fix, the singer has several concerts scheduled over the next few weeks. A full list of tour dates is here.
