Central Minnesota’s Best Valentine’s Day Date Ideas
Valentine's Day is right around the corner. It's best to be thinking about what you want to do now so that you're not scrambling at the last minute to make reservations when everything is full. Central Minnesota is a great place for a nice night out! Check out some of these Valentine's Day date ideas and have a fun night our with your true love!
1. Live music at the Paramount--Take your sweetie to see Country Roads--A Tribute To John Denver at the Paramount Theater on Valentine's Day! There are two showtimes, 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the Paramount's box office.
2. Pioneer Place--Matt Vee Family & Friends Present: A Celebration of the Music of Neil Diamond on the main stage. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. with advanced tickets for $29 and $32 at the door.
3. Ice skating--There's nothing more romantic than lacing up your skates and holding hands around the rink with your love! Plus, it's a pretty cheap but memorable date. Afterwards grab hot chocolate at one of St. Cloud's local coffee shops!
4. Fast food date--White Castle is taking reservations for your Valentine's Day dinner. The meal comes complete with flowers, dimmed lighting and table-side service.
5. Movie date--Check out a movie with your Valentine at Marcus Parkwood Cinema in Waite Park or The Quarry Cinema in Cold Spring. Show times and movies vary.
6. Bowling--It's always fun to get a little competitive with your sweetie. Why not make it a fun double date night and invite your favorite couple to Great River Bowl in Sartell or Southway Bowl in St. Cloud?!
7. Rock climbing--St. Cloud State University has a pretty fun rock climbing wall open to the public for a small fee. If you're an adventurous couple, or just want to try something different this is the perfect Valentine's Day date for you!
