COVID-19 has canceled a lot this year. Many people are wondering what Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping will look like this year. Several stores chose to be closed last year on Thanksgiving to allow their employees time to spend with their families. This year, we could see more stores close on Thanksgiving due to the pandemic. Retail Me Not already compiled a list of stores that are set to be closed this year. We'll continue to update this list as more stores announce their plans.

Stores closed Thanksgiving 2020 according to Retail Me Not:

  • Bed Bath & Beyond (was open last year)
  • Best Buy (was open last year)
  • Dick's Sporting Goods (was open last year)
  • Foot Locker
  • JCPenney (was open last year)
  • Kohl's (was open last year)
  • Office Depot/OfficeMax (was also closed last year)
  • Target (was open last year)
