Boy Hears Buzzing Sound: Has Tick Feasting On His Eardrum

IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR

The next time your kid tells you they have a buzzing sound in their ear, take them seriously. A boy in Connecticut kept telling his  parents he felt like something was inside his ear; not only that, it was buzzing in his ear. Yikes! Try to stay calm while your kid tells you something is invading their body.

Sure enough, the parents took their son to the doctor and found a tick feasting off of their sons eardrum! By the time they found the tick it was dead, so the Doctors had a tough time removing it's teeth from it's eardrum but did finally get it removed, and gave the boy antibiotics.

The Doctor said the buzzing sound the boy heard was probably the tick crawling through his ear canal and the closer it got to his eardrum, the louder it became.
