Bowlus Fun Day is Back for 2021
There were so many things that were cancelled last year, basically the entire year was cancelled. But we are in the process of bringing back most things and trying to get back to some sort of normalcy.
One of the fun annual events that is coming back this year is Bowlus Fun Day. This is generally the Sunday closest to the 4th of July, and this year it's actually on the 4th of July since that is a Sunday. There are several events that you can partake in, according to a Facebook post.
So, as you can see there is something for everyone, bring the family out and have a great time! There's the outdoor polka mass, who doesn't like that? You can take a tour of Bowlus on the "fun train" plus there are all sorts of games for kids and adults. If you are feeling ambitious and want to get some exercise while having some fun, register for the 5K walk/run.
There will be a parade around 11:15- after the polka mass. There is no entry fee, but there will be some prizes in specific categories.
There is some afternoon and evening music and dancing. The afternoon entertainment is polka and waltzes by Main Squeeze and the evening entertainment will be the Levi Pelzer Band until 11pm.
Head to Bowlus on the 4th of July to celebrate Independence Day and Bowlus Fun Day!
Remember- all proceeds will go to Bowlus Fire and First Response.
When dusk rolls around at the end of the day, there will be a fireworks display to celebrate the 4th. Make sure you have your family and friends there to help with the "oohs and ahhhs".
