Alright, this is a driving tour I can get behind. Bentleyville, a huge free Duluth holiday light display, announced they plan to be open for the 2020 season.

But because of the Corona virus pandemic, instead of the traditional walking tour, this year it'll be a driving display. Which, if you ask me, is pretty awesome when you consider how cold it gets in November and December. I almost hope this becomes a permanent option!

Lights will be turned on for the season starting on November 21 through December 27.

Normally, guests can take free walks around the 20-acre park while sipping free hot cocoa, snacking on free cookies, popcorn and roasted marshmallows. There's no word yet on the specifics or if there will be free snacks and goodies again this year.

If you're worried about lines and trying to avoid traffic, Bentleyville has a 'Crowd-O-Meter' online that lets people know which days they anticipate being the busiest.

Bentleyville will be open on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve as well as Christmas Day. Santa and Mrs. Claus will parachute into Bentleyville on November 21st around 4:30 p.m. Fireworks night is scheduled for December 26 at 6:30 p.m

Leading up to the holiday season, Bentleyville will be selling their annual Bentleyville Bars at local Holiday stations on September 19. Every candy bar purchase will get you $5 off a $25 purchase at select Duluth restaurants and 10 cents off per gallon of gas Holiday.

The light display is open for guests Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m .to 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Bentleyville is located in Bayfront Festival Park at 700 Railroad Street, Duluth, MN 55802.
