Are You Really Making the Right Choices at Costco?

COSTCO SHOULD SAVE YOU TRIPS TO THE STORE...RIGHT?

How many trips to Costco have you made since the beginning of the Pandemic? I don't actually think I've been in the store...that's because the whole idea of shopping there is to go maybe twice a year and save, save, save.  I wasn't affected by the toilet paper shortage because I happened to go to Costco for my big giant Kirkland TP purchase before everything went haywire.

I'm not your average shopper. I don't clip coupons...I don't run from store to store looking for specific products.  I'm a single Mom who works alot, and I find a few good stores that I shop at regularly and Costco is a run for these things specifically:

• KIRKLAND TOILET PAPER
• KIRKLAND DETERGENT/PODS
• KIRKLAND DISHWASHER PODS
• SMUCKERS UNCRUSTABLES IN HUGE PACKAGES
• EGGS
• RAZORS
• BUTTER

If you hate preparing meals, Costco has some delicious meal choices for you on a daily basis.  Seriously, they have seafood that I can't find anywhere, like Walleye! But the prices on fish are about the same as other places I go, and sometimes, I'll end up throwing away what I buy as my kids don't eat leftovers. Go figure!  But these are some things to consider as I've heard they are amazing!

• GIGANTIC CHICKEN POT PIES
• TACO KITS
• LASAGNA
• WRAPS
• BAKES

The meals have baking instructions so what the heck? If you've got a party coming up, this is THE place to go.

BULK BUYS

Sometimes I team up with a friend and we buy in bulk together. This can really help if you're buying perishables. Who wants a dozen peppers if you're not going to use them right away, or if you aren't going to take the time to cut them up and put them in the freezer. Buy what works, or you'll be spending money on things that might find their way to the trash can.

HAS ANYONE YOU KNOWN EVER PRICED OUT A CAR AT COSTCO?

I would never think about buying a car at Costco, but obviously someone has. If you have the patience to find what you want you can take your buying power to Costco and see what they can do for you.
