Amazing Pancakes, Cows, and More at Annual Rochester, MN Event

Have you ever touched a cow?  A job opportunity popped up on Facebook the other day as I was scrolling and it was for a dairy farm in Minnesota.  They needed people to help milk cows at night and I thought, "I need some extra money, the place isn't too far from me and it could work", but then I realized that I have never touched a cow in my life.  That could all change on Saturday!

If anyone really knows me, a job milking cows probably isn't something I'd excel in.  I'm not really a fan of getting dirty and I have on occasion told my co-workers when I've broken a nail.  Since I've also been told I have a face for radio, maybe being in a barn with livestock is a good spot for me at night.  See what happens, but while I start browsing Amazon for overalls, check out the event below on Saturday in Minnesota where you and your family can hang out with some cows and eat some amazing food!

Everything You Need To Know About the 36th Annual Country Breakfast on the Farm Event

Wear some shoes that can get dirty and get ready for a fun adventure at the Annual Country Breakfast on the Farm event, the kickoff event for Rochesterfest.  Here are a few details to help you get to the right location:

• DATE:  Saturday, June 22nd, 2024
• TIME:  6:15 am until 11:30 am
• LOCATION: North Creek Dairy, 9500 Highway 30 SE, Chatfield, MN 55923
• WHAT TO EXPECT: 
  • Chris Cakes will be serving pancakes sausage, cheese, milk, juice, and coffee.
  • Horse-drawn wagon rides
  • Educational Agricultural Displays & Exhibits
  • Restrooms and handicapped access
  • Fun kids activities
• PARKING:  on-site parking is available
• FREE BUS RIDE:  If you'd like, you can also hop on a free bus that will be leaving from the Mayo High School South parking lot.  Last bus to leave for the farm is at 10:45 am.
• COST: Kids under 5 are free, 5-12-year-olds are $5.00, 13 years old to adult are $8.00.
