I've found that being in quarantine has really messed with my regular schedule. I used to finish work by about 2 in the afternoon, and now, I'm working longer hours, but stretching them throughout the day. I've been baking a lot more, and finding that I'm probably eating more than a person needs to feel good.

After I noticed a couple pounds jump back on, I decided to get with some friends for some advice. THIS simple trick helped me drop two pounds in one week.

I took an honest look at the foods I was eating...how much I was eating, and then made a conscious decision to be prepared and believe in myself.

I added a reminder of some good healthy snacks to the list, including almonds, string cheese, and boiled eggs. I also remembered that cauliflower rice is a great alternative for noodles and potatoes anytime.  Also, I had to remember how bad I feel when I don't eat well. All of these terrible things haunted me for the week: heartburn, the weight gain, bloating, grogginess and stress. I decided I didn't want to feel like that anymore. Thus, I started creating sugar free recipes to help me wean off of sugar, and it made a big difference.

I know I can do it. Can you? Make your own board. Put it on your fridge, right where you will look at it! It made a big difference for me.

Good luck!
