The San Francisco 49ers (14-4) came out of Charlotte this afternoon with a 23-10 win over the Carolina Panthers (12-5), earning them a date against the Seattle Seahawks for the third time this season; and the opportunity to play for a spot in the Super Bowl.

Carolina took an early 10-0 lead, but it was all San Francisco from that point on. Panthers QB Cam Newton threw for 208 yards, two interceptions and one touchdown. 49ers RB Frank Gore carried the ball 17 times for 84 yards, and teammate WR Anquan Boldin caught 8 Kaepernick passes for 136 yards.

The NFC Championship game will take place next Sunday in Seattle at 5:30 CT on FOX.
