After the great April Blizzard of 2018, it looks like we might get even more snow this coming week. These aren't the 'April Showers' we expected, but they are the ones we're stuck with. Here is how I'm justifying Mother Nature's decision to keep dropping snow on us in Minnesota.

1. The Wild are still playing - As long as it is Hockey Season snow can fall. But as soon as the Wild are lifting the Stanley Cup (or get kicked out of the playoffs) the snow needs to stop.

2. Fishing opener hasn't happened yet - It just isn't the start of fishing season in MN if the weather doesn't make you hate yourself. May 13th is the date this year, and it is allowed to snow on that day as long as it melts as soon as it hits the ground.

3. We need time to prep for Swim Suit Season - Memorial Day Weekend is when summer gets started in our great state. It also is the start of swim suit season. It can still snow for a while, because it gives us more time to get 'in shape' for summer. Or something like that.
