2019 Renaissance Festival Open for the Season

The 2019 Minnesota Renaissance Festival is now open weekends through September 29th in Shakopee.

The festival is celebrating it's 49th season and has grown to be the largest Renaissance Festival in the United States with an annual attendance of 300,000.

Tickets at the gate are $24.95 for adults, $22.95 for seniors, and $15.95 for kids. Advance discount tickets can be purchased in the St. Cloud area at Coborn's, Cashwise, and Speedway stores.

The 2019 Renaissance Festival is open from 9 AM to 7 PM, and will feature all kinds of special themed weekends again this year:

• AUG 17 & 18:  Bold North - Vikings Invasion
• AUG 24 & 25:  Highland Fling
• AUG 31- SEP 2:  NEW! Bellies & Beer
• SEP 7 & SEP 8:  Wine, Chocolate & Romance
• SEP 14 & 15:  Pet Fest
• SEP 21 & 22:  Shamrocks & Shenanigans
• SEP 28 & 29:  Oktoberfest

A daily park-and-ride-shuttle to and from the festival is available from Mystic Lake Casino:

• Depart Mystic Lake: 9 AM, 10 AM, 11 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM & 4 PM.
• Depart RenFest: 12 PM, 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM, 4 PM, 4:15 PM, 5 PM, 6:15 PM, 7 PM & 7:15 PM.

You are welcome to bring your dog, but it'll cost you $10 for a pooch admission and you must provide proof of vaccinations. (Dog's not allowed on 98.1 bus trips.)

Don't miss the jousting, pitting knights against one another at daily at 11 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM, and 5 PM.

The daily parade is entertaining each day too at 11:30 AM.
