Twins Take Series In Detroit With Sunday Win

The Twins took two out of three games from the Tigers in Detroit over the weekend, including a 4-3 win Sunday afternoon. Minnesota is 17-19 on the season.

Josmil Pinto, Eduardo Nunez and Eduardo Escobar each had a pair of hits for the Twins, with Nunez and Pinto each getting a run batted in as well.

Starting pitcher Sam Deduno kept the Twins in the game through six innings, allowing three runs on six hits with five strikeouts.

The Twins are off Monday, then will host the Red Sox Tuesday night.
