The Minnesota Twins begin what they hope is a deep playoff run today against the Houston Astros at Target Field. The Twins are the third seed in the American League as the Central Division Champions. The Astros are the 6th seed.

2020 is the second straight season that the Minnesota Twins have claimed the American League Central Division title. The Twins finished the coronavirus pandemic shortened 60 game season with a 36-24 record.

As the higher seed, the Minnesota Twins will host all of the best-of-three opening round Wild Card series games against the Astros at a fan-less Target Field.
