Former Twins centerfielder Torii Hunter has agreed to sign a 2-year $26 Million contract according to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports.  Hunter has reportedly narrowed his choices to Texas, Detroit and Atlanta.  Hunter is a 37-year old rightfielder at this point in his career.  He batted .313 with 16 homeruns and 92 RBIs for the Los Angeles Angels in 2012.

The Twins weren't looking for outfield help and weren't considering bringing back Hunter.  Minnesota is looking to trade outfielders at this point not acquire them.  The Twins have reportedly talked with Seattle and Atlanta about acquiring starting pitchers.
