Get Ready For Holiday Cheer At The Zonta Christmas House
SARTELL (WJON News) -- Get inspired this weekend with the annual Zonta Christmas House.
The 36th annual event is this Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This year's house is at 1408 Antler Creek Court in Sartell.
Spokeswoman Debra Kellerman says the Zonta Club is celebrating its 75th anniversary as an organization in St. Cloud.
The 21 women who started the organization set up a scholarship for $100. That paid for a person's one year at St. Cloud Teacher's College, including fees. We're nowhere near being able to give a scholarship to that magnitude, but that's pretty cool when I was going back into the history.
The Christmas House is one of two fundraisers the Zonta Club does each year.
This year's event will have 12 different decorators, interior designers, and stores from the St. Cloud area decorating every room and space in the home.
The decorators come in and decorate every room and space to make it look like Christmas. We don't have any type of requirement; some use new and cool colors that are trending, some go traditional, and some have a modern look.
The Zonta Christmas House will also have a Winter Marketplace with over 15 vendors selling products ranging from baked goods, coffee, jewelry, beauty products, and winter greens.
Tickets are $20 each and can be bought online, at six local Coborn's and Cashwise locations, and at the door. You can also buy your tickets on The Value Connection for $16 each.
