Yum! Mark Your Calendars For This Minnesota Eggroll Festival

With the temps yesterday afternoon in the low to mid-50s, I've already started to think about summer time. As you know, different people like different types of food. If you enjoy an eggroll, you might want to mark your calendar for an event entering its sixth year. However, this is the first time I've heard about the eggroll festival that happens on Eggroll Day in June.

A St. Paul Church welcomes eggroll lovers from all over to enjoy the sweet to savory treats offered in this 6th annual tradition. Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church in St. Paul is hosting the event on June 8th from 11a to 6p, and they are expecting more than 20 vendors serving up different eggrolls.

Join us to celebrate the hard-working history of egg rolls - National Egg Roll Day.

The event will have more than just egg rolls - So many flavors from many different cultures, all in one place!

Some of the vendors that are expected to be at the eggroll event are:

Fire Cream

California Dip & Eat

Richies Cheese Curd Tacos

Yum Yum Truck

Samosa Sambusa

KCM EggRolls

Taiwanese Sausages

The Big Red Wagon Food Truck

Thai Thai Street Food

The event is being organized by one of the food truck operators, the Egg Roll Queen, which is no longer accepting vendors, but if you have questions about the event, you are asked to reach out to them, and you can find their contact information on the bottom of the event page, linked above.

I knew food trucks were still pretty popular, but I didn't realize that eggrolls were to this level, where more than 20 trucks would gather up to offer some form of an eggroll.
