Wind Chill Advisory Through Friday Morning
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for all of central Minnesota in effect until 9 AM Friday morning.
Gusty winds and plummeting temperatures will result in wind chill values of -25° to -30° through the day on Thursday and continuing through Friday morning. Frostbite and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken.
From the National Weather Service this morning: Wind chills will drop to between 20 below and 35 below zero across much of the area later today and tonight. Cold temperatures will persist into next week. Make sure to bundle up if you're headed outside.
