William Shatner Gives Turkey Fryer Lesson [VIDEO]

Most of us love turkey. Most of don't like dry turkey. What's the solution to that problem? Deep fried turkey. But only the best of chefs can master the deep fryer - hence so many burn victims in the emergency room on Thanksgiving.

William Shatner has teamed up with State Farm for an interesting PSA on turkey fryer safety.

In this video, Shatner tells the story of how he felt he was above the instruction manual and disregarded safety to cook his turkey.

As I watch this project, I have to think, "Did he get the best price on that fryer or did he name his own price?" We can only be thankful that he didn't attempt to sing the State Farm jingle!
